Rutland Water Walking Weekend...

The  beautiful area around Rutland Water is a great area for walking with pretty villages and wildlife to encounter on our walks. Our base for the weekend is Oakham, a pretty village close to Rutland Water.

Walking: There is a choice of walks, a shorter one of around 7 miles and a longer one around 9 miles on Saturday and we will walk together on Sunday, Sunday's walk is around 7 miles. The walking is fairly flat on good paths and country lanes around the beautiful Rutland water and passing through the pretty villages. 

Accommodation: Our accommodation is the 3 star Brooke Whipper-In Hotel, Oakham. This is a friendly hotel in a picturesque village. 

What is included? Dinner on Friday evening, bed and breakfast; Guided walking on Saturday with packed lunch; Dinner on Saturday evening, bed and breakfast; Guided walking on Sunday with packed lunch. Walks will be straight from the hotel on both days.
