FAQ’s. We hope any questions you have will be answered here, however if you don’t see the answer here you’re welcome to contact us with any specific questions.
Are flights included in the price?
Yes. Flights are included in the photo workshop tour price. Flights are based on a group flight from a specified departure airport, usually London. However where there is an alternative airport which is more convenient we can investigate this for you. Whether this is possible is often to do with flight availability and or times for the transfer to the destination. But we will always do our best to meet your requirements.
Can I book a photo workshop tour as Land Only?
Yes. Most of our photo workshop tours can be purchased “Land Only”. Please contact us for a quote.
I’ve seen the prices on the website but will it go up after I have booked?
The price quoted is the price you pay. Once you have booked your workshop tour and paid the deposit we will absorb any increases in price, such as fuel supplements or exchange rate fluctuations. Any optional payments, such as flight supplements for regional airports, if they apply, or room upgrades, will be clearly stated. We also tell you exactly what is included in the price of the tour. You will notice that some tours are priced in either GBP, Euro and a Local Payment. The local Euro payment is to cover the cost of the transfer to the resort. If you book “Land Only” and pay for your own transfer this local payment will not apply.
How safe is my money with Ventura?
Your money is perfectly safe. In accordance with EC regulations, your payment to us for holidays including flights are fully protected under our bonding agreement, through the Civil Aviation Authority, who issue the Air Tour Operator’s Licence ATOL our Licence number is 6200. You should ensure that any holiday company with whom you book an overseas trip is ATOL bonded. For more details please visit www.atol.org.uk to check out any Tour Operator’s Licence. In addition the UK’s Package Tour Regulations require us to hold any monies paid by clients in a Trust Account and your money is only released from this account once your holiday is complete.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept payments via Credit Card / Debit payments and through Bank Transfer. Please contact us for further details.
What deposit is required?
Deposits on most of our holidays is £300 per person deposit. See the price panel for each tour full details.
When do I have to pay the final balance?
The balance is required no later than 9 weeks before departure. If you are unable to meet the normal schedule of payments, we are happy to agree alternative arrangements in many cases. Please contact us if you wish to make alternative payment arrangements.
What do you recommend I bring along for the photo workshop tour?
About 2-3 weeks in advance of your photo workshop tour departure date, we will send you full joining details and suggestions about what photo gear to bring. Of course you are welcome to ask any questions in advance. Apart from that, we do like to have some fun along the way, so bring your sense of humour.
When will I receive my travel documents?
Travel documents will be sent to you about 2-3 weeks in advance of the photo workshop tour departure date. These will include e-tickets/boarding passes for you to print out or you will receive a reference number for you to check-in on-line and print out your boarding passes, flight numbers, times of flights, check-in times, baggage allowance, etc. and arrangements for meeting up with the Tour Leader on arrival. What photo gear to bring, recommendations of some things you should take with you, the currency used, and so on.
What money will I need?
For all our tours we can advise you what amount of personal spending money you will need during the tour We always make it clear in our descriptions what is included in the price of our tours.
Is travel insurance included in the photo workshop tour prices?
No. Workshop tour participants are required to purchase travel and medical insurance prior to attending.
