Make sure you have Holiday Insurance..
It is a condition of travel for overseas holidays that you take out Holiday Insurance. We also advise you take out holiday insurance for UK holidays to cover any losses due to unforeseen circumstances which may result in your having to cancel your holiday.
It is a good idea to have annual cover that way you will be covered for your weekend trips as well as your holidays.

Passports and Visas
- You should make sure you have at least 6 months remaining on your and passport
- Ensure that you have acquired any visas required
- Vaccinations, and Health issues
You should obtain a European Health Insurance Card, if you don’t already have one. You can apply online at www.dh.gov.uk/travellers. You can also apply by picking up an Application form from the Post Office or by telephone 0845 606 2030 – you will need your NHS or NI number to apply.
It is your responsibility to ensure that any health requirements are met and that you take advice from your GP or local Health Centre regarding any health issues in relation to the country you are visiting or your health.
If you have any health issues, you should advise us of these at the time of booking and ensure that you take any medicines you may need while you are away.
We recommend everyone takes adequate sun protection, after-sun lotion, sunglasses, sunhats, antiseptic wipes, plasters, Paracetemol, antihistamine tablets and cream.
Airport Parking with or without an overnight stay
If you require parking and/or an overnight stay before your flight, Ventura is part of Mango holidays and we have teamed up with Holiday Extras, a company that offers very competitive prices for both. Joining Details
Between two and four weeks before departure we will send out a set of joining details. These will give you all the information you will need. The joining pack will contain:
Overseas Holidays
- baggage labels
- details of flights, baggage allowances, check-in times, etc.
- meeting and transfer arrangements
- name, address and contact details for the accommodation
- currency information
- useful information
- health advise, if applicable
- name and contact details of your Holiday co-ordinator
- names of your fellow holiday-makers and their location. This will not be full address, but may say London, Manchester, Cheshire, etc.
- If you would like to share transport to (and perhaps parking at) the airport with someone from your area we can establish whether that is feasible and acceptable to them
UK Holidays
- name, address and contact details for the accommodation
- how to get there, nearest station, etc.
- useful information
- name and contact details of your Holiday co-ordinator
- names of your fellow holiday-makers and their location. This will not be full address, but may say London, Manchester, Cheshire, etc.
