When you travel with Ventura Holidays, travelling solo doesn’t mean travelling alone. We understand that taking your first holiday on your own can be a big step, and yes it's natural to feel a little nervous. But you can rest assured that with Ventura Holidays for singles you'll be in good hands.
We know that people travel on their own for many reasons, you may be single, divorced, widowed or just travelling without your partner. All our holidays are group holidays for single and solos. With Ventura you are holidaying as part of a group of singles and solo travellers and the beauty of group travel is that there are always other single people to socialise with. It’s your holiday so you can be as involved as you like in the holiday activities and there is always time for relaxing and exploring. Evening meals are usually taken together as a group as eating alone is no fun at all; even on free days the group usually chooses to eat together.
At Ventura your age doesn’t matter either, we have single people of all ages travel with us. Most people are over 30 and in their 30s, 40s and 50s but as long as you enjoy outdoor adventures, meeting other like-minded single and solo travellers and want to have fun, you’ll be amongst friends.
Ventura Holidays and weekends are not singles dating events; we just offer holidays for single people to share the holiday experience with and our aim is to make your singles holiday sociable and fun.
Some singles holiday companies don't give you a choice you pay for single occupancy of a room. At Ventura we offer two prices on most of holidays so that you can have no single supplement by sharing a twin. If you choose a twin share, we will match you up with someone of the same sex to share. On many holidays you can choose single occupancy and we always endeavour to keep the supplement to a minimum. Sharing with a fellow solo traveller of the same sex can be great fun and you could end up with a life long friend.
